The short version
The 820 Method tools are offline-first files that run entirely in your own browser. We cannot see your financial data — it never leaves your device.
Your financial data
- Everything you enter (income, expenses, debts, savings, credit scores, profiles) is stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device.
- The tools have no accounts, no login, no server, and make no network requests with your data.
- We have no access to it, no copy of it, and no way to recover it for you — which is why the tools include an Export/Backup feature. Backups you export are files on your device, under your control.
- Clearing your browser data (or using the included reset page) permanently deletes the data on that device.
This website
- This site is a static page. It does not set advertising cookies or run third-party analytics trackers.
- If you contact us (by email), we receive whatever you choose to send and use it only to help you.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by our store provider (Payhip) and its payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). They handle your payment details under their own privacy policies — we never see your card number. We receive the information needed to deliver your purchase, such as your email address.
Children
The product is intended for adults managing their own finances and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Meaningful changes will be noted on the main page.
